We headed over to a pizza place last night to catch a sneak peak at the next LVM. We were curious to see what kind of group of people this drew and we were quite shocked. They showed the entire movie right in the middle of the restaurant on a huge screen. I bet there were some people thinking we were all nuts but the movie was great. LVM (Lunch Video Magazine) is a quarterly DVD that covers kayaking trips from around the world and contains water that most people would never run. But, as a guy explained to us, there were several people in the "watch party" that are huge boaters in the area. He mentioned some are first decent guys and others were sort of pioneers in the sport. I'm bad with names but I noticed they all had beards, need to work on that. In all honesty, that level of paddling is something that Julie and I are really not interested in doing. But we wouldn't mind going to watch ;). After last night I think we can safely say, there are a lot of paddlers out here! Can't wait for the rain and some good class III+ creekin'.
