Well I have never felt so guilty about having such a good time before. Since I am still looking for work I was able to catch a rain fed stream today, Island Creek. I had been told about this gem before but was told that it was hard to catch. Well a few of us caught it today. Our plan was to run Daddy's Creek but it was huge. So our second option with the time we had was Island. This run is only about two miles long but one heck of a paddle. Plenty of tight creeking moves, well to me anyway, and tons of breathtaking scenery. Of course that can only mean one thing...yep the camera battery was dead. I was able to snap a couple bad picks. Guess that means I need to find a job and take Julie next time. Looking forward to it!
