Been a while....

Well here I am again. It feels like time is finally slowing and we can really sink our teeth in and enjoy. Julie and I have been hard at it with the new house. We have been filling our new home with actual furniture and decor. Yes no old hollowed out kayak shells here, we are really doing it proper. It really has been both stressful and a hoot at the same time. This place is just perfect for us.

Now that we are getting time to slow down and relax it's off to the Ocoee! Yes finally back to our home river. We'll be heading down today with three other couples and will try our best to hit every eddy and throw a trick or two. All though... both are not likely to happen!

We have enjoyed seeing and hearing all about the great water, weather, and action back home and in Arkansas. Looks like we missed another great season there. Not to fret, your new vacation home in the Smokys is almost ready to open for business! Now when you come, we have a little timseshare speach for you... all this stuff doesn't come cheap!!

The house is ours!!!

Long story made short…It’s official – We’re now homeowners once again!!! We’ve spent the last week moving into the new house and are incredibly exhausted. The place is great! Life is very peaceful on our cul-de-sac and we’ve even met a few of the neighbors. The cats have settled in well and are enjoying all the natural lighting throughout the house. Our good friends, Dru and Kaylan, joined us this weekend to help get the place set up, arrange furniture, decorate, etc. They were such a big help and even did some furniture shopping with us! Thank you guys! You’re the best! Will write more later when we get settled in, but for now check out some pics of the place. Still need to hang pictures and decorate, blah, blah, blah…
